Thanks to the crowdfunding started by Tokyo Geidai and Baschet Japan Association, in collaboration with our Barcelona workshop, this November and December 2017, we have restored the Katsuharaphone original Baschet masterpiece from Osaka'70.

With this research and creative project, we bring back the sounds unheard during 47 years, learn about the unique sound features of this string based piece, helding concerts, workshops, and exhibition.

After KawakamiSan suddenly passed away, we -Tokyo Geidai Factory Lab led by Yoshihiro Kawasaki and the Barcelona Baschet crew-  are proud to continue the restoration project in his memory, Villeminot and Baschet brothers. Their efforts to allow new generations to learn and enjoy soundsculpture came true while they were alive, and so we will keep them.
